kids gave the thumbs up to this healthy pasta salad

Pasta Salad is a great recipe to make with your little ones. Your kids will love this delicious recipe shared by one of our famiizuu mamas and the best part is that it is they won't even realize how healthy it is for them!


Greek Pasta Salad with Tuna


  • 1 pound pasta of your choice
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/3cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 plum tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cucumber, seeded and coarsely chopped
  • 1/4 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4cup pitted kalamata olives, chopped
  • 1/4cup finely chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 6 ouncecan  solid white tuna in water, drained and broken into chunks
  • 1/4cup crumbled feta cheese


  1. In a large pot of boiling, salted water, cook the pasta until al dente; drain and rinse, add small amount of olive oil so that it doesn’t stick together;
  2. Meanwhile, pour the vinegar into a large bowl and whisk in the olive oil in a slow, steady stream. Stir in the tomatoes, cucumber, red onion and olives. Add the pasta and parsley and toss; season with salt and pepper. Stir in the tuna. Top with the feta.

This pasta salad is an easy recipe that would be great for a potluck.  It makes a really big bowl of salad, so feel free to half the recipe if you don’t need so much!
