Halton Food for Thought Breakfast Bash 2019

May 3, 2019  Oakville Conference Centre  7:30am - 9:30am

In partnership with the community, Halton Food for Thought feeds students, via Student Nutrition Programs healthy food so they can achieve academic success. The Breakfast Bash (formerly called the Annual Spring Breakfast Gala), helps us raise funding needed to ensure our programs remain strong and sustainable. Dollars raised will also help us achieve our vision of a Halton region where "no student goes hungry at school" by allowing us to expand our reach to students in Halton schools who currently do not have a HFFT SNP. Guests will be treated to a Breakfast Marketplace, stories of inspiration, Raffle Prizes, Auction Items, exciting draw prizes including 2 Air Canada Foundation tickets and MUCH MORE, including Rick Campanelli as MC for the second year in a row!


Vegas Illusion Show

May 3, 2019  Champs Family Entertainment Centre  7pm - 8pm

Watch Miltons Own Dan Kranstz create some magic. Tickets are $20 online for reserved seating or can be purchased at the door!


Burlington MADE Spring Craft Market

May 4, 2019  Ron Joyce Centre  10am - 4pm

MDHF's 2019 Gift of Health Gala

May 4, 2019  Burlington Convention Centre  5:30pm - 11pm

The Gift of Health Gala is the Foundation’s signature black-tie fundraising event, made possible by the significant generosity and support of many committed individuals whose goal is to support quality healthcare in Milton. Pack a Bag Victorian Tea Fundraiser

May 5, 2019  Gambrel Barn Country Heritage Park  1pm

Take your mom, friend, daughter out for Victorian Tea & support a great cause!
Tickets $30 for Adults, $15 for kids 12 and under. Tickets available at Lunchbox Café on Nipissing (cash only), from Denise Mule or Jennifer Williamson. For Each Pair of Pajamas Donated You Will Receive a Ticket Towards Grand Prize of Tickets for 2 to Cirque du Soleil & Dinner. Pack a Bag for a Friend is a local not-for-profit organization in Halton that supports families in need at Christmas time, by putting together backpacks for children & parents to ensure they have warm clothing and gifts during the holidays.

Milton Breakfast Club

Hosted by the Milton Chamber of Commerce, this ticketed monthly breakfast networking event is held on the 1st Tuesday each month from 7:30 am to 9:00 am. Milton Chamber members are encouraged to come out and mix and mingle over a delicious breakfast buffet.

A family fun event for the entire community. Lots of activities including bouncy castles, face painting, jewelry making, games, vendors and much more!! Opening of the 2019 Milton Farmers' Market

May 18, 2019  Downtown Milton  7am - 12pm

The 2019 Milton Farmers`Market will open on May 18 and run until October 12, 2019. Nestled in the foot of the scenic Niagara Escarpment, the Milton Farmers’ Market has been bringing farm-fresh goodness and old-fashioned hospitality to Main Street, in downtown Milton, since 1972. Our farmers proudly display “picked fresh this morning” produce and the streets come alive with artisans and flower vendors. The Milton Chamber of Commerce operates the weekly Saturday morning event from May through October and is one of Ontario’s best outdoor Farmers’ Markets. This years market will host over 40 vendors. - Fireworks Festival

Milton Public Market

The Milton Public Market is set to become one of Halton Region's biggest attractions, scheduled to open at the historic Milton Fairgrounds, from May 25th to September 15th every Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. It'll be the largest incubator for small businesses in the region. Discover hand-made crafters, street food to fresh, seasonal produce from farmers, and many other kinds of specialties. What sets this market apart from all the rest is the massive amount of activities you can experience beyond eating and shopping. There will be hundreds of special events, workshops, cooking demos and classes, seminars, exhibits, kids programming and bus tours each weekend. There is something for everyone!


Fashionista Flip 2019

Women's clothing, shoes, and accessories shopping event. With entry fee ticket for $10, gently used women's items can be purchased for only $2.00 each. All funds go to Milton Transitional Housing a non-profit organization that provides safe, subsidized transitional housing to individuals and families in crisis.
